icColony is a colony imager that takes images of biological colonies growing on Petri dishes. The instrument has simple, yet optimal optical scheme. It consists of LED light sources equally that provides equally diffused lighting over specimen in the up to ø90 cm Petri dish. The 5MP camera has controllable parameters like focus, exposure, etc. The instrument can be connected to a PC or a mobile application for further image analysis.
